Hello all. Trying to figure out the best way to separate my channels out and ask what else I might need to get attaching a photo of my house with measurements. Any recommendations would be great. This year I am just framing my house with 12V bulbs only other things I think I would ever do are a matrix and a mega tree. My idea is to mount the Falcon 4V2 Pixel Controller, PSU and raspberry pi model 3 mounted in the garage I think 250ft of lights should cover it. I am assuming I will have to get some waterproof extension to run the lights everywhere? How would some of you seasoned vets lay this out? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Those upstairs windows are begging to be outlined in pixels too. Ditto for the downstairs windows.

I feel your under estimating what you will end up with. I would jump in with a F16v2 with a Differential expansion board and 4 receivers. Depending on your mega tree size it can use 8 outputs for the tree and 1 more for the star on top. 1 receiver to get the 4 windows upstairs. another to get the 2 roof peaks, roof outline(flats) and garage window. another receiver for first floor windows and door. Garage door off main controller. last receiver to grab railings. under garage window or covering it I cat see a spinner. You could string upper windows together but the distance between them you will end up using some null bullets to keep the data going. On mine I needed one set to jump 15 feet I used 4 bullets in between and taped them over. do have to note them in your set up.

I am seeing plenty of space for snow flakes in the winter and stars for the 4th of july, all the windows the others thought up, along the porch there, wraps on the trees. Those beg for their own vertical matrix. You have enough room up the sides of the garage for some beat poles.

Bean Poles? how about candles made from coro

Thanks everyone. Awesome ideas. Getting excited to start trying everything out! So I think channel wise it was suggested to tie the garage window and all parts of the roof together. The garage door by itself. I assume the same with the two poles. The first floor windows and door tied together. The upper windows together. The railings and down stairs windows together. I love the flag/snowflake idea that sounds awesome. Last the TREE! With the distance traveling from the garage to the far points of the roof do you think I would need to worry about needing an amplifier? What size PSU would yall recommend?

Just to give you an idea. My controller is in the basement . I'm running 40 feet of 14-3 speaker wire to my tree. All power does not come from my controller. I have tested up to 60 feet with no issue. As for power supply just do the math.
