Title: Alphapix 16 Dead, Inside voltages are good to the ARm cpu. Unable to ping it

I have 2 alphapix 16 with blank screen unpingble and no status led. Dave at holidaycoro would not fix them. He want me to buy new boards.
Did you find a fix to yours. I fallow the instructions where you press 3 switches to reload firmware, but no go.
the bottom row of the LCD screen shows very faint squares (all bottom line an with no character definition)
Any help would be appreciated.

Those boards are garbage, you are better off getting a falcon. There is a reason many of us don't do business with holidaycoro.

How old are the boards?  Did you get to use them this season? 

HC has a presale going with a warranty expiration in mid Aug 2017...I don't even get most of my stuff out by then. 

Recommend the Falcon board, it's been awesome!
