Title: Xlights 2016.56 Giving me Problems
Post by: kentd on February 11, 2017, 12:26:31 PM
I am running version 56 but I could not download it on this computer running windows 10.
I am trying to import Gil's Living Light Show Snowflake but in my layout I have sub models of the flake and two of them are not being available in the sequence. The inner and outer rings.

This pops up every few releases. Some do.. some don't.
Click on more info then run anyway....

try running the online virus scanner on the downloaded file.
one of the 55 virus engines flagged 2017.3 with "HEUR/QVM06.1.0000.Malware.Gen".
the other 54 gave it a clean checkup. This heuristic is prone to false alarms. try searching "HEUR/QVM06.1.0000.Malware.Gen" in google to see the description.

can files online at

Sean, if you are replying to me, I believe this may apply:

When you hit "run anyway" Xlights does go ahead and install.
