The nice part about this project it is all scrap but lights, slip coupler and motor. A bit of time here but its Winter what else is there to do. By the end of this weekend all the lights will be on.

Beautiful Farris wheel. Did you make it from plans? Is it pvc or wood or ? Great job?

I humbly request a demo video of this in action. That is really cool.

It is all wood I do have plans that I drew up. It runs off a small 12 vdc motor. Later tonight I'll post a video of it running. My plans is to run it Halloween and x-mas

Well it ended up being a cold night with it being in the 30s out and no power for 14 hours. Tonight I shot some video of the Ferris wheel. I have the lights set to only 30% brightness. Still too much. At the end of the video shows some close up the structure of the wheel. The wheel is sequenced with 2 models. Spinner for the center and a circle for the outer ring.
I do have an issue when I put a pinwheel effect on the spinner it acts real weird. I have a spinner that I built but had to use a customer model because the arms are different lengths. (width vers height) Oval looking, and the pin wheel effect works great there.
The design is out of my head but I do have drawings of all parts as I made it. This is made of all mahogany scrap wood from work. Video as promised.....
