Title: Data layers
Post by: Ebuechner on March 18, 2017, 12:04:14 PM
I went back into one of my old sequences with 2017 .6 and after I hit render all my data layer was off buy one channel starting from the first channel. I went back and tested where the break was and it looks like it's between 2017.2 and .3

I really don't want to try to figure out why.  Just use the Channel Offset feature in the Data Layer settings.

Will it accept -1 without creating an issue?

Sorry but I get offended when someone wastes my time with a question that they could have answered by just trying what they are asking.

Sorry that you're offended but I wasn't sure entering a negative value would cause an issue. I did try it and it works but I asked the question in case it will cause a negative reaction somewhere else and i have to trace it back. (Ounce of prevention)

I will look at this when I get a chance.

If it helps at all I went back and installed older versions going forward till I could reproduce the problem. Let me know if you need any files from me to help you reproduce what I'm seeing

I use an offset of -1024 (two universes) for some of my very old LOR sequences. Its easier than re-doing the sequences.
