Title: 2017.18 crash

I installed 2017.18 64-bit and tried the show all effects and I get a crash every single time on any sequence I open. For me it's very repeatable and I'll provide files if you're not able to reproduce the problem.

Oz sent his so his bug is fixed in .19. It is not possible to be sure about the others. It may be the same bug ... or it may be something different.

Eventually ... this is not an important enough bug to rush out .19

Is there something in our computer configuration that caused this crash? I only ask because it doesn't seem like it affected everybody. It'll be nice to know if there's a change that I can make to prevent future problems and make my computer more stable with xlights .

Sounds to me like you are one of the few trying to use that feature and not something in your computer.

It has nothing to do with your computer. It is just a bug. It will be fixed.
