I am updating a song I brought in from Vixen using Data Layers. I have added a Bars Timing Track and have it activated, but when I drag and drop and effect on a model it is not automatically filling between the timing marks.
Is there a something I have set wrong for this to happen?

I am answering my own question.
When you have multiple timing tracks with the radio box checked, the top track is the active track. To have the effect properly fill for different timing marks uncheck the other timing tracks and only check the one track you want active.

I almost suggested that because its the only way I could figure it wasn't working but you were new and I didn't think you would be using custom views. The timing tracks only work that way in the new views you create. In the main Master View for the sequence you cannot select more than one timing track. Initially I considered it a bug and was going to fix it but several users said they wanted it as a feature.

Thanks Gil,
I really enjoy the Custom Views. I have most of my show set up in Groups of similar models, and only open up the models I am currently working on. It makes the sequencer page much more managable.

Hey Gil,
Did you make a video on implicating the custom views. I have been doing this for a while now and have never got off the master view.

That video looks old to me because the Display Elements dialog doesn't have the new drag and drop interface.

That's what came up when I did the search. I figured it would get him going in the right direction.
