Title: 2017.14 question
Post by: charlie-68 on August 26, 2017, 08:01:52 PM
I understand that in the 14 update there is an issue with the value curves. As I understand the value curves cannot be changed in that version. My question is if I have no value curves in my sequence, when I update can I use the value curves of the new version in my existing sequences?  Does the upgrade only effect the value curves? Thanks  Charlie J.

There is no issue with value curves in 2017.14.  As of 2017.24 the only thing we are saying is once you save a sequence that contains value curves you cannot run it in an older version of xLights.  So just download the latest and move forward.

i agree. Lilia has already converted her sequences to 2017.24. Just be aware if you are on 2017.24 you cant go backwards. You must wait for any bugs to be fixed as they are found. Gil, Dan and Keith normally respond to Prirority 1 bugs in 1-2 days. We are going to want 100% of all xlights users to be on at least 2017.24 or higher for this years shows. The comment was just to be aware, no going back.

Thanks, I meant to say 2017.24 not 14, but you answered my question I just cannot go back to an earlier version once I update. Charlie J.
