Title: wxWidgets Debug Alert
Post by: QldKing on September 19, 2017, 06:39:39 PM
Receiving multiple (could be the same error) on starting .29 on mac.  Installed .29b and getting same error.  Rolled back to .28 and error does not appear.

I still seem to be getting the error in .30.  I found that it does not like any window being undocked on start up.  Only way I can resolve is to open up .26, then dock the window, save the perspective and open back up in .30.  I have turned off auto save now.

My own profiles all have undocked windows at startup and I don't see this so that shouldn't be the reason.   Is it possible to try and narrow it down to a particular window?   I have my house and model previews undocked.

I have seven undocked windows on startup (v 30, 64bit). They are all on a second monitor.
Is there anything listed in the Tools/Logs about your windows?

It always seemed to fail when house preview was undocked.  I have updated to .31 and have saved perspective with house undocked and it loads ok.  Ill keep checking to see if I can get the error to occur.  May have just been a local error.  I dont need to install/update wxwidgets on my mac?

. Nothing showing up in the logs to show an error.  This is just on single screen laptop.

Dan made a change in .31 to disable these errors ... to be honest they should not have been appearing in the first place. They are meant to be excluded from the final build but on the mac one of the compile options was causing them to be included.
