1. OK gang, this was brought up by a friend. I offered to ask here for an answer if possible.

He has 27 snowflakes created.  They are the Boscoyo flakes. Used sub-models on 1st flake to create radials on arms etc. Is there a way to copy/attach etc those sub-models settings onto his other snowflakes. Or is the only way to edit XML.

2. Can you use more than 1 source to map a sequence?

OK, I map some of Lilias sequence, not happy with the way the eaves look. I have a Holidaysequences that has better looking eave effects.

Can I create a mapping for lilia's use the best features of her seq, then create a separate mapping for the holidayseq files, and use the best of that seq.

Or if I leave a section blank IE eaves on Lilias, only slect eaves on the HS seq, will that delete the imported stuff from Lilia?  IE want to use the best of both worlds so to speak.

for #1 - editing the rgbeffects.xml file did work (I was careful).

I have 27 identical snowflakes and wanted to put the submodel info in each. The xml edit wasn't tough using Notepad++ but I noticed that the snowflakes models were scattered in 3 different regions of the file. Curious what controls their location (other than order of creation) and if there was a way to "sort" the models into Alpha order like they are in the Layout list.

but, for the slight OCD tendencies I get, that means I "could" edit the XML and put my models in the order I want.

Rgbeffects. But you can export models to .xmodel files which also then contain the submodels information.

It gets a whole lot more interesting when you are importing a sequence with sub-models and your props don't match their props exactly..
