I sequenced my Halloween show on a windows 10 laptop 64 bit. Trying to transfer to a windows vista computer 32 bit. When I open a sequence on the vista comp I cannot get a wave form in the audio bar and the sequence plays for about 20 seconds then freezes. The music will play to the end of the song if I let it, but the traveling bar freezes and cannot do anything with the sequence. I get the warning that Xlights has stopped responding and have to force close Xlights. Any help please other than buying a new computer or Pi. Thanks

Since they are fixing crashes and problems every release it kinda helps to know which version you are using. But it sounds like you already know the problem since you have a machine that works and one that doesn't and you're pre-emptively telling us to not give the correct advice.

Using version .31 of the software. So what your telling me is that the software is not compatible with windows vista 32 bit if the new computer or Pi is out of the question.

Upgrade to v32. 32 bit should work.

What I was saying is its always the person that knows he is using a terrible PC with 2nd most worst version of Windows that says don't tell me I need a new PC...lol. Even if you get it working you really need to get rid of that 10 year old dinosaur.

Sorry to go a little bit off center here, but I must just ask...
What do you consider the "worst" version of Windows? :-\

Windows ME was the worst...lol.

+1 on ME and Vista, then 8

On a really old PC I would consider dropping the OpenGL version back to 1 or 2 ... it is entirely possible those old video drivers just cant handle the way we draw those graphic elements on the screen.
This should not in any way impact the scheduler as it does not rely on openGL at all.

Thanks. Was just wondering.
