Title: Sequence markers and subdivisions.
Post by: WidmerWonderland on October 10, 2017, 06:17:41 AM
I do a lot of video and audio editing, one of the features I love is the ability to drop markers in the project to quickly find sections or to leave a 'left off' marker. I also think that a notes tab would be useful.

I used the lightorama software before this.  For me I would tap out whole notes for the song.  I would then subdivide the entire track by 2 to get half notes, 4 for quarters and so on.  I found this to be more accurate than the beat wizards, including the audacity plugins.  I feel a subdivide command woukd be really cool.

Thanks for a great product!

Markers were added recently for quicker navigation within the sequence.  Check out this video on xLights.org ...

Thanks, this is helpful but i am thinking more like  multiple markers that are permanent and can be labeled. Verse 1   chorus   verse 2   bridge etc...

You can do that with a timing track. Add timings covering the chorus and double click or shift double click to label it.
