I am trying to sequence DIY floods in Xlights. I think I read or was told to use AC mode to set the ramp up and ramp down sequence of the flood. How ever I have spent a long time trying to get this to work. It doesn't seem cut and dried as to how it works to get the section of the grid where I want to place a ramp up and ramp down flood. It takes me a long time to get one done and it as out of pure luck that I manage to get a space in the grid done. But can't seem to duplicate the steps. I really don't know the steps to take to get from start to finish to make it happen properly.

I wouldn't use ac mode for rgb floods. There is a video on videos.xlights.org that goes over ac mode if you want to persist.

Well I just want to make the floods works. I thought is was done in the AC mode. so if not, then hows the best way to sequence them in Xlights, if they can be done in it.
I plan to out put them to Ren48LSD?
I only have experience doing them in vixen 2.1
If I have to go back to Vixen to display them, then I guess I will.

Colour wash or on effect would be best

Ok, thanks
On effect, with fade in and fade out would work for ramp up and down.
