I tested my mega tree last night and decided to try xscheduler. I just used the play button. There was alot of lag, to the point where it wasn't even watchable. I closed xscheduler and opened xlights a f just played a sequence in xlights and it was perfect. Am I doing something wrong with xscheduler?

I'm not familiar with xscheduler but if it runs like FPP and you are running Unicast, you'll have lag in the system unless all controllers are hooked into the network and are turned on. Just learned this recently... it would run fine straight out of Xlights

I do not have all of the controllers hooked up yet. Maybe that's the issue.

If you are running unicast I bet that's it. Again, not being familiar with xscheduler, in FPP you can just uncheck the controllers / channels that aren't hooked up and it works without hooking the controllers in to the network. If there's a way to do that in the xscheduler easily you can try that.

That is not necessarily true. The implementation of TCP/IP and the pcs capacity to deal with missing unicast targets is different particularly when running on windows.

To prove if missing controllers is the problem deactivate the missing controllers and try again.
