Title: Xlight schededuler help
Post by: George34 on November 13, 2017, 03:07:50 PM
Ok... I gave up on the pi player cuz i couldnt get the wireless tobwork  so now I'm going to go with the scheduler since im running short on time. So......
I did a play list and all that jazz.  Set a test up and i can hear the song playn but no lights.  I made sure the light bulb is on.  And did the audio and fesq files but nothing.   On the bottom of the page it says. C;\Users\George\Desktop : missing xlights _neyworks.xml.  all in red.   I'm sure that has sumthing to do with it.
I watched couple youtube vids but didn't really say anything abt that.

I think you could benefit on some one on one time. I know XtremeSequences offers this as a service. Might want to look into it.

OK, somewhere in your xLights you should have a file called 'xlights_networks.xml'. Mine is in my xlights/sequences folder.  Go into your system, and find where this file is and make a note of it.

Once you find it, go back to xSchedule. On the 'file' menu, there is a option to select your 'Show Folder'. Set this to the same folder where the xlights_networks.xml file is.

Then save everything, and give it a try...

That did it.   Did a test run and it fired up.
Thx

Dont move the file. Point to the folder where it is.
