I've noticed since updating to (OSX version of) 2017.37 that I need to go to the Layout and change specific models colour to "Apple" colours because they do not display on the visualizer screen otherwise. I haven't had to do this to all models, only some. I've looked through the settings of the models and they all seem to be consistent with the others. It wasn't until I changed the colour to an "Apple" colour that the issue corrected. This hasn't caused any crashes and I don't know if it would cause the controller channel to appear as unresponsive, I haven't gotten that far into sequencing yet since I'm still just dumping the ideas into the sequencer right now.
I've attached the video and .xml for reference
Thanks

Well what you did not show in the video is what is the color values of the effect you are using to trigger the model. Is it 100% white i.e. 255,255,255? Single Color models will only activate if the effect is a very close match in color to the color you've assigned to the string except that pure white is supposed to always trigger them. I've created a new string type for next release that will always trigger even when colors don't match.

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that :)
I happened to find one other string that had the same issue so I made another video that shows more of the settings. I believe you are probably correct on the issue but I'll let you be the judge. Hopefully I got all the info that you need in this one...

I really don't have time to be analyzing and judging videos. I stated how it works so I'll let you investigate.
