Title: xSchedule Network Path Selection
Post by: nmiller0113 on November 20, 2017, 10:44:30 PM
If using xSchedule in unicast mode on a machine with two network interfaces, xSchedule should use the interface on that particular local subnet, correct?  Just making sure it didn't have any override in it for network path / interface selection for the show network, and it depended solely on the OS standard routing.

If I were running in multicast, which I am not, but just for the sake of knowledge I'm assuming it would multicast out of both interfaces, yes?

Thanks!

It uses the force ip setting setup in XLights. Generally your os will smart route unicast packets. Multicast seems random so you will want to force it.
