When I enable the web interface password on the latest version of xSchedule on Mac it works on the local host but any browser on another local computer throws up the error "web socket: disconnected [object CloseEvent]". I'm guessing it is violating a browser security / protection mechanism in how it is directing to the password page. I understand the password is sent in clear text, but it is at least nice to have a small amount of protection in place for the interface should someone find their way on to my private network (though I'd have bigger fish to fry at that point). Thanks!

Any thoughts on this? Keith?

What version

I just tested it on the latest version 2017.39 and it gives me the same error. I can do it locally when I'm on the machine running xSchedule but if I try to do it remotely from another machine it gives that error. As soon as I disable the password it works fine. One thing to keep in mind since I don't know if it will make a difference but mine is running off a Mac and is using port 8080 as I cannot run it on port 80 on a Mac. Thanks!

I remember this being mentioned but I forgot where we got to on a resolution. Will add it onto my list to look at again.
