I'm a bit confused this morning. Working on a new song, and layering seems to be working differently than I recall. I usually have my "All RGB" layer at the top since the other lower layers could overwrite the information. Is this wrong?
I recorded a short video below to explain what I'm seeing. I have an effect in my "All RGB" layer that's overwriting my Mega Tree layer (which is below it). When I remove the All RGB effect, the mega tree works fine. My solution right now is to add another layer in the mega tree that's black to cancel the All RGB effect, but I didn't have to do that previously.
- I do have render on save selected, but a separate render did not have an effect either
- I do have the render mode as erase (didn't touch it)

We have cross model blending now. If you need to alter it you have 3 options. You already found option 1. Option 2 is change the blending mode of the lowest effect on the mega tree model. Option 3 is go into the Settings dialog and find the checkbox where you can turn off cross-model blending and make it work like it used to.

Thanks Gil! I was assuming I was missing knowledge on a new feature. Might have to play with that a bit (later!)
