I recently purchased a LOR sequence from a seller on eBay. I try to import the effects into xLights and receive the following error: XML parsing error: 'not well formed (invalid token)' at line 1
Any ideas? I've imported effects numerous times without any trouble. Both paid and shared sequences.
Thanks all,
Keith

What's the best way to get the lms file to you?

You can pm us a Dropbox link

Hmm...sequence purchased from eBay? I hope this isn't it but I will say that is the error message you get if you try to use a LOR sequence that was created from an unlicensed Demo version of the program.

That's nice. Lol. Is it possible to salvage it? I don't own light o Rama software. Lesson learned....

Did you get the PM with the Dropbox link? It's not showing in the sent folder just making sure you received it.

I haven't grabbed it yet. It's on my list.

You can open LMS files in Notepad++ yourself and see what I'm showing in this screenshot. Like I suspected that was a sequence created with a Demo version of Light-O-Rama. Whoever sold it did not own the program. It cannot be used in xLights because its encrypted or whatever they do to protect it.

That stinks I really like that song and I am more bummed by that, than I am the $20 I paid for it. Thank you for your time looking at it. Maybe I can find it elsewhere.

Seller sent me another copy of the sequence. It worked fine. Thanks all for your time.
