Title: text Scrolling Multiple Lines - Sync two layers

I am trying a simple text effect with two layers. I want to scroll Merry on top and Christmas on bottom. I have them scrolling but due to the difference in word length they do not stay synced up. I have played with the offsets but am not getting it to stay consistent. any tips?

There is a couple of different things you can do.
The first and simplest is to add spaces to the shorter word to make it effectively the same length.
Second one would be to get it to scroll across with one pass lined up how you like it then save it as an effect and then keep reapplying it as an saved effect.
