Starting with simple stuff... The roof line of my house is simple. One story and approx 60' long. If I am creating this model I thought dividing the roof line into 6 10' sections. At 3" density I calculate 40 nodes per section. Does this seem correct?
I am on the no budget plan so every node counts. :o

While you may build the lights in 10 foot sections it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to model it that way.

Good point. I was thinking more about actual assembly. These are my simple calculations. Do they look correct?
60' roof line @ 3" spacing ((60 x 12)/3) = 240 nodes

Sure. Don’t forget spares. You will occasionally get node failures so having a few extra makes sense.
