When creating a sub model using the node range, does it matter the order the nodes are listed?
For example, I was trying to create sub models on the Boscoyo 24" 3 prong snowflake. The inner ring is nodes 1,8,9,16,17,24,25,32,33,40,41,48.
Would it render different if those nodes were typed in a different order? I ask because when I got to doing the "tips" I don't think I kept track of whether I did right then left or vice versa on each branch.
So would an effect follow how its typed or how it is displayed in the layout? Hopefully the question makes sense, its the end of a long day for me...
I added the model I edited but left off the tips, and then realized if the order matters, my branch sub models are screwed up as well since I wasn't too careful with the left/right of the tips on the branches as well...

Yes the order can matter but it will depend on which render style you select for each effect. If you choose something like "Single Line" then the effect will follow the path you typed in. So technically you could create a submodel with a non-linear order and cause the effect to jump all around.
