Pretty positive I just have something wrong, but whenever I do a FPP upload via xlights, it fails on the .mp3 file everytime saying "FTP Upload of file failed to create the target file." When in FPP, I see a file created, but it is 0 in bytes. I can manually upload the music file and it is fine.
Anyone have any ideas here?

What folder are the MP3 files stored in on your xLights computer? Is it somehow a folder protected by Windows?
Do you have that MP3 file open in another program (like Audacity) that may have locked the file while editing?

Have you checked the logs for messages.

The files are stored in an audio folder in the xlights working drive. Not open in anything else either.
I am by far not a linux expert.... I dont see any logs in the GUI so I am guessing this is going to be in the CLI. Can you tell me how and which logs to check?

I had that error a few times using FPP upload. I just thought it was because the music file existed on the pi, as once I deleted the file and ran FPP upload again, it worked.

XLights writes logs as it tries to upload the file. Tools menu. View logs.
