Title: LOR Conversion Problem
Post by: VBryan on November 15, 2014, 09:27:14 AM
I developed a sequence in Nutcracker for my mega tree and exported it to LOR using the Export button.  This created a .lms file.  When I opened the file in LOR everything was as expected except for the segment that called for the sections that used the ripple effect these sections of the sequence were completely blank.

Make sure when you export that you use the export model button not just the export button,

I am not sure why you would use both methods but I have tried them individually and get the same results.  Everything copies except the sections using the ripple effect.

I will look into it. Btw, lcb export is more efficient than lms export both work. Export will create data for every channel in your xlights SETUP tab, export model just exports channel range of model

I just downloaded version 3.6.11 to see if the above problem was fixed and as soon as I open the ripple effect I get an error "Unable to find I_SLIDERS"  If I click on OK I get "Unable to find ID_CHECKBOX_Ripple_Blend".  when I click OK on that I get "Unable to find ID_CHECKBOX3"  Any attempt to play a sequence with the Ripple effect in it locks up the program.

When you get an error like that, it means that a specific parameter was changed by a revision.

The quick fix is to click OK until the boxes go away, then "Update Grid (F5)"
That clears the error.

That fixed the problem and now the Ripple effect converts.  Thanks.  And Thanks Sean.
