I would like to share a couple ideas that I'd really love to see happen in xLights. First of all, I really wish I could open more than 1 sequence at a time (from the same show folder, of course). That would make sequencing same/similar effects between songs a lot easier.
Second, I wish there was a feature in xScheduler that would play the visualizer when running a playlist. It would be awesome to visualize the entire playlist and how the songs flow together (just my personal "final details" I always do).
Finally, I would like to see there be an easier way to sequence moving heads. I know the DMX effect is there, but if there were a way to "track" the moving heads, it would make it A LOT easier to sequence them. Maybe have some kind of mapping where you can "click" spots (A, B, C, etc.) that'll have the head move from a spot A to spot B during the effect. I hope that makes sense.

A and b. No.
C exists kind of. See my video one using the state effect with moving heads.

I would like to see the first suggestion also. It was a feature I always liked it when using LOR and you could have two or more sequences open at one time.

Its great to have dreams... :)
Any pro user already knows how to open 2 sequences at the same time btw.

Only 2, amateurs, you are not living dangerously until you have at 3 going in different directories and 2 in your show!

I only added this request in because I hate having to open xLights in multiple windows. It'd be a lot simpler if there was an option have multiple tabs instead of windows.

Sorry its very unlikely to happen because the entire design would need to be started from scratch. We are stuck with the design that Matt started and since there is a way to open more than one sequence already I can't see it ever becoming a priority to do this no matter how much anyone hates it.

Not only that Gil ... it is one thing to open multiple sequences when you have 64 channels. It’s another thing entirely when you have 200,000 channels.
