Title: Clickable web links
Post by: QldKing on April 09, 2018, 11:26:43 PM
MAC xLights v 2018.10.  Just want to check, when a link is placed in the metadata for a sequence, should I be able to click on it?  If not, is it possible to make it a clickable link?  In particular, website and Music URL.

Aren't those displayed in edit boxes which allow you to change them?  I don't have the program with me to refresh how it works.  If its an edit box its probably not possible.  If its displayed as a non-editable static text label them it might be possible.

Correct - they are editable.  What I found yesterday was that CTRL+A was not highlighting the entire link.  It was only highlighting the part of the text visible in the box.  Only way I could pick it all up was to shift and arrow through the field to pick up all the link.  Today though, when I went to test again CTRL+A worked.

Not sure about Mac but in Windows I just double-click the field and hit ctrl-C and it copies everything.
