Title: XSchedule Crash while sitting open
Post by: brichi on May 13, 2018, 02:23:58 PM
I saw in a few versions this has happened and just happened again so figured I would report it

I have xschedule 2018.13 on my MacBook Pro, all up to date, I let it sit open for a while, I came back and it crashed and it saved the zip file log below. It was running anything, just sitting open

Going to need more information. I had scheduler up all last night no issues. Was there a particular state it was in. Was it running lights.

Hi Keith,

Happened a few times with different instances, in the case of the crash above I wasn't doing anything, XSchedule was just open not running anything

I had it open last night again doing nothing but I also had xlights rendering a sequence and xschedule crashed while xlights was rendering

From the crash I saw it wasn’t just open you seemed to have the playlist edit dialog open and it was playing in the background. The crash itself was network related which seems really odd.

thanks for checking into it Keith, It happened a bunch of times so I apologize if those files are from a different state of what I described

I have only looked at two of them and both appear related to your network stack and unrelated to what you actually had going on in the scheduler at the time.

Do you have any events set up or were you integrating as a master or remote.

Was the schedule playing when it crashed?

Nothing was playing from scheduler at the time
scheduler is my master and I do have 2 remoter pi's plugged into the network
xlights was open on one of the crashes but I dont believe it was running anything. I was back and forth between the 2 so maybe the button to turn lights on was on also

XLights running won’t impact the scheduler. Is xschedule master or remote. Do you have any events set up.

XScheduler is master, I only have 7 playlists/fseq added scheduled to trigger at a certain time. Also a second schedule set to trigger a group of 5 mp3 tracks
