Title: E682 and Xlights setup
Post by: 11Bravo on November 17, 2014, 08:32:57 PM
Since the E682 has to be setup with universe size of 510,  Do I setup Xlights with size 510 also?
I don't seem to have this lined out yet.

Also, in Vixen 2.1, E1.31 Jsys plugin, do I use 510 here also.

I did my RGB programming in xlights last year then imported into LOR and ran my show from LOR.   I do not remember having to tell xlights to "stop" at 510 (for example) and restart at 513 and I do not see a way to do this in the models' channel setups.  I do think I setup my universes as 510 each, so that might be the trick.  Anyone who is more adept/practiced at this; I would appreciate your input here!!!

Setup number of channels to be 510 on e682, p12r. On falcon controllers set channels to 512.

U do not tell setup the start channels for controllers, u just say how many channels each will be.

Sean's info is correct. This is how I have my E682 configured.

Don't forget that the XL/NC network setup needs to match what's on your E682 config page. ( 510 channels per universe)

Thanks Sean.   Thanks Flyinverted.   As much grief as I went through last year setting up channels in another (unnamed) software package; I KNEW I would remember if I had to do a bunch of additional channel manipulations in XL/NC in addition to that (unnamed) software package....
