Title: Possible issue with importing sequence after model name change
Post by: QldKing on June 13, 2018, 09:28:23 PM
2018.15 MAC version. After watching the 3D presentation by Gil for the Sydney mini, I removed all my individual arches and made them 1 arch with 8 arches. So the issue now is when I bring in the old sequences its looking for the old model names which brings up the sequence element mismatch option. I can not add to the strings for each arch so I select "map effects to other elements" for each one which then brings up the map channels field.  I map each to the strand but when I go to the sequence the effects are missing. Only way I can then bring them is to use Import Effects which then works.
Is this a bug or the correct way for it to work?

Hi - just following up if this is how it’s supposed to work or a bug. Still occurs in .16.

Sorry I thought someone else might reply to this one.  It sure looked like a bug to me but  looked like it was going to be involved trying to figure out why so that's why I didn't dive into it.  If there is any way to trim down the operation to only a few things that will show the problem and then zip it up and post it that would be the best bet for getting help.

I just tried it and it worked fine. Maybe you can record a video to show us exactly what you are doing

This will be fixed in the next release
