rel 2018.21 I put a new background image up for my layout and started moving models around. As I moved one of my eave lines. I held down the ctrl key as I went to resize it assuming that may keep the line constrained to level. Instead I ended up with a 4 sided arrow cursor, but could not select anything and now the program is locked up in layout. Even if I switch to another setup folder the layout screen still shows the 4 sided arrow cursor.
yes I know what assume means. LOL I just started this process and I manually backed up my original rgb_effects file so it is no biggie to start over. I switched to a setup for a purchased sequence and the layout screen there was also locked. Since the problem exists across setup folders I suspect that saving the rgb_effects file that has failed is not going to tell you anything, but I will save it anyway.
Exiting xlights and restarting the program put me back to where I was since I could save the layout even though the layout screen would not let me edit anything.
