I'm thinking about a new computer and concerned about moving xlights. If I remember correctly I should be able to download the xLights files into a thumb drive and upload into the new computer. Is there anything I need to be concerned about? Of course I will need to recheck all files and sequences after the upload. Thanks for your help as always. Charlie J.

There are a few items in the registry that don't transfer but nothing usually that important. Like window splitter sash positions. We also store the current show directory there so you need to set that to wherever you copy the files. If you don't keep anything outside the show folder it should be as simple as copying the one show folder and all subdirectories. If you keep music, images, fseq data or anything else external to the show folder it needs to be copied over as well. You could always use Package sequence for each sequence to guarantee it gets everything needed for that sequence but you would end up with a bunch of "lost" folders containing the outside images.

Just remember to reset up all your settings as none of those will come across.
