Do I name all the segments or something for each window? Like to create a group like "Windows - Tops".
Thanks.

Or submodel them and put the top submodels into a group.

Yeah I was trying to show someone how they could use PolyLine for a Window and the 4 strands are already available to sequence but the problem I ran into is apparently we don't provide a way to select those strands for creating a group. I think it would eliminate a lot of submodel creation if someone could select ModelXYZ/Strand1 as a member of a group cause internally I thought strands were pretty much the same as sub models.

We probably could but would need a way to toggle them on/off like we can submodels as well. There would be wrinkles in the implementation because strands are not fully interchangeable but it could be done.

So what I did was create individual lines (4) and set the channels equal to what I determined they would be from the windows model @startofwindows, @startofwindow+Height+1, @startofwindow+Height+width+1, etc
Sound about right?

So you created 4 models instead of 1 model with 4 submodels? Not the way I'd go.
-
I have never created a model yet so went with the predefined ones :-) I can do some reading up ..

Maybe I didn't understand what you said. I meant yes use the built-in models. You can use the Window model and then go into Properties and click on Submodels where you can create 4 submodels. I'm sure videos.xlights.org has a tutorial on submodels. You create a line and enter pixel node numbers and you will see them highlight to confirm you entered the correct range.
