Does anyone have a couple LOR sequences (lms format) that use CCR's that they could send me? (along with possibly a vimeo or something of what the sequence should look like)
I discovered today that the LMS import always assumes that a LOR unit is 16 channels. Thus, loading sequences that use CCR's (150 channels) really gets messed up. I just pushed a fix for that that works OK for the one sequence that I have, but I'd like to see a few other sequences to make sure it's not completely bogus.
On a related topic: currently when loading LMS sequences, we try to map the LOR "network/unit/circuit" into channels based on the setup on the Setup tab. However, that does mean the "Setup" has to exactly match what you are loading. Otherwise the LOR import doesn't actually map the data. This is different than some of the other imports (like HLS and Vixen) that just order the incoming channels in some sort of smart and predictable order and imports everything. Not sure what the right thing to do is, but with CCR's the current thing seems "wrong".
For example, the sequence I was given has a single LOR controller on network 0 (16 channels) and 12 CCR's on network 1. To import it, I had to create a setup with two networks, one 16 channels and one 1800 channels. That 1800 one really could only map to Pixelnet, certainly not DMX or e1.31. I'd have preferred to have the setup as 1 16channel and 12x150 channel e1.31 to match what I'd really be outputting.
Thoughts?

Interesting. Does this mean that an 8-channel LOR unit would cause problems too? I have a setup that includes at least one 8-channel unit. I could send you that file if it will help with your troubleshooting.

I didn't know they had an 8 channel unit. Interesting. Yes, please send the lms file to me. Dan at kulp dot com would be fine.

It is the LOR 24 Channel DC unit that cause the biggest problems for people in xLights. If they'd made it 32 channels, it would not have been a problem.

That should now be handled as well. If you have a sequence with one, I'd like to test it out. Basically, I'm now using 16 as the initial unit size, but if it encounters channels beyond 16, I start incrementing the unit size and then save it to use it for offset calculations later.

I converted my LOR 12 CCR matrix to DMX, so I basically stripped the control channels out
I may have an old Sequence I can send you if you still need it

Dan; let me know if you want me to release another xlights with your changes to the import process?

I have a LOR sequence (for a Ouija board prop) that runs one 16 channel controller, and a 8 channel "servo dog" controller. Can also be with or without a CCR. Do you still need copies? Preston
