Originally I thought I blew a triac in one of my controllers, here is what is happening, I have converted all my Lms files over to xseq, I have 15 Lor controllers, so I took another controller and re-set the id number to controller 8 to be sure tht the triac is not the problem. So I have 8 of them hooked up and daisy chained, I have been testing as I go, controllers 1 through 6 are good I can test each string individually, when I try to test anything on controller7 or 8 I get nothing unless I select all in the test mode, even doing that I get nothing from controller 8, that is not the biggest problem, when I go to preview and select an xseq and I hit play I have lights that stay on, from controller 8 and it is doing wierd things, the arches are not firing when the should, I have triple checked my Lms files to make dang sure that the seq is correct. Does any one have any ideas? not totally flustered but getting there.
I am using an E131 bridge with a Trendnet hub all my Lms stuff is universe chanells 1 through 239 my pixel tree which I am running off of a E682 is universe 2 through 9 if that helps.

Don, I would swap the data cable out between controllers. Assume the cable between 6 and 7 is bad and see if you can get the problem to follow the hardware.

Here is the problem, I have 7 controllers hooked up, (lor on dmx) all the lights work flawlessly in test mode, when I hook up controller 8 the controller is showing me that it is getting a signal, but no lights work in test mode, when I play the seq in preveiw using xlights the lights on controller 8 are not firing the commands that have been assigned to them. Trouble shooting, here is what I have tried, I thought a cat 5 issue, so I unhooked the cat 5 that goes from 6 to 7, using that cat 5 I ran that out to 8 still no lights, I removed controller 8 and put up another controller ( yes I changed the unit number to 8 in the hardware utility) still nothing, so then I eliminated controller 6 and went from 5 to 8 still nothing, when I made the change I used the cat 5 that went from 5 to 6 so I know that works. any ideas or anything else I can try? what am I missing?
After talking to Don White here is what else I did, I tried an old lor seq and everything works perfect, so now the question becomes this, if the xseq is corrupt what is the solution? get rid of the xseqs and try converting the lms files again, or do I move the xml files to my desk top uninstall xlights and do a new down load?

Still no luck when I ran everything through Lor all channels fired at the right time But I want Xlights to run my show I bypassed controller 8 and tried controller OA and those channels worked can you only use a limited #of controllers really stumped with this

Hi, Don...
I'm running 21 LOR controllers in DMX mode in universe 1 from XLights w/no issues ( I reserved channels 1 thru 336 for LOR stuff)... So to answer your question, you should be able to run your all of your LOR controllers In XLights... Have you looked at each controller's DMX channel numbers to see if there are any conflicts?
Don't know what else to suggest...
