Does each chip in an led bulb or strip re-amplify the data signal? I have some f-amps and am thinking I only need them for longer runs from the controller to the first prop. I have a run of about 25 feet and I am pretty sure I need an f-amp somewhere along that run to keep the data signal alive.
Thanks

I'm not its an amplification of the signal but more of a "squaring" of the edges. I had a run of 40 feet that wasn't working and I cut the cable at 20 feet and installed a pixel and then told the Falcon I had 1 null pixel and then everything worked fine.

Answering the original question yes each pixel regenerates the signal for the next pixel.

Thanks guys. As a test this morning, I ran a 20' cable from my f16v3 to a mini tree and had flickers. testing with an f-amp right off the controller caused the flickering to stop. I then tested a 50' cable and the results, as expected, was very bad. I added an f-amp to the beginning of the extension cable and no more flickers. So far the f-amp is doing a great job.

Yeah if you have them use them. I thought you were asking if you could use a pixel instead. I made my cabling before f-amp's existed.
