Newbie starting with xLights. I have a F48 for controlling my new pixels and a Renard SS24 for controlling my static props. I was able to finally get the Renard to light up with the F48 test with a universe of 10 (using universes 2 & 3 for pixels) however could not get it to work with xLights, although the pixels worked. Reading through the forums, I changed my Renard to universe 1 and now the Renard does not work with the F48 test, however it works with xLights, but now my pixels do not work.
I am connected to the Renard with a crossover cable to serial port 2 on the F48.
How do I set up xLights and the F48 for all to work together?
thanks!

I would expect the Renard to be able to work with any universe you wanted as long as you set it up correctly in the F48. Where in the F48 do you tell it which universe it needs to route to the serial port?

I set the F48 set up as:
Serial Outputs - #2, Type - Renard, Start Address - 1, Baud Rate - 57600, Stop Bits - 1
E131/ArtNet - #1, Universe - 1, Size - 510, Start Channel - 1
Thanks!

I would show as many screenshots as possible that involves all the channel setup for xLights and the F48.
It's not clear to me how you are testing when you are saying "with xLights". Is it xLights test mode or playing a sequence on the grid?
If you play a sequence with output to lights on then you should see packet counts increasing on the status page of the F48. Now I don't have an F48 so I'm assuming it has the same pages as other falcons.

Attached are the images of my current setup. Why would it work using a universe of 10 and not 1?
In xLights, using the Test Mode.
I believe the F48 is basically a F16V3 with all remote boards.
Thanks!

So a couple issues I see. No packets being received. You gotta solve that or nothing will work. Is Output to Lights really On in xLights? If so then run Check Sequence and verify its using the correct IP address to transmit the data. Maybe you have it setup trying to send over a Wireless adapter instead of the hard-wired adapter. There is an option to force it somewhere in the menus. Also you have only 1 channel defined in xLights for universe 1 so it will never light up anything but a single AC channel or the red led of a smart pixel.
