Newbie question: If I plan to leave a string port empty, what do I put in the port configuration page. If I try and blank out the universe number and start channel, I get errors. What does the Port Configuration page look like with unused ports?
From the image, you can see that Univ 203 and 204 are scattered over several ports. How do I put them on just two ports and empty the extras?

Just type in whatever you want for the ports. If universe 203 is on one port then just enter how many pixels it has on that one port. Unused ports don't need to be changed just let the data fall out the end of the connector.

Won't that make a mess on the lawn?

I think this is what you are saying. Ports 10 and 13 will have cables to the cherry tree. Ports 11,12,14,15 will be empty so who cares what they output. Just looks a little sloppy.

If you are going for neatness the set the Universe to 100, the start channel to 1 and the pixel count to 0. Nothing will be outputted on that port but the layout will be neat.

You can type in an invalid universe and they will turn red if that makes it more clear. I would personally change the description to say empty instead of leaving it looking like they are really running something.
