Title: Display elements window will not come up

I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I added a string to Layout page, when I select the Sequence page and I try to select Display Elements to add the new string I do not get a new window. When I select the other options in the tool bar they all work except Display Elements.  I'm running 2018.47 64bit

Most likely it is showing up off screen. Try the dock all it reset to defaults options in the views menu.

That worked Thanks!!!!!!!!! I would not have found that setting :)
