Hello all,
I'm new to xLights. I've been using Vixen 2 for the last 8 years or so. This is the first year that I was looking to incorporate a RGB pixel element into my show and know that Vixen (at least version 2) is no longer really an option.
The pixel element I've been working on is a Mickey Mouse silhouette (I live in the Orlando area...). I want to be able to "color" in the face, more or less. I don't want to use the built in effects. I'm sure I'm missing something, but what is the easiest way for me to select each individual pixel's color?
I appreciate your assistance

If you really want to you can drill down to the node level and drop on effects or colour washes on them. I don’t understand why you would want to sequence pixels that way but you can.

Like I said, this is my first time with pixels and with xLights.
A couple of things I would like to try:
Color the ears one color and the face another.
In my Mickey 1.0, I had used standard lights to create a US flag in the Mickey head (see attached for example). I'd like to try to replicate this in my new pixel Mickey 2.0.
How would I accomplish something like this?

If you create submodels for the ears you just drop a Bars effect on the entire model and then an On effect on the ear submodel to turn it blue.

Now I think I get it. I wasn't getting the sub-model thing, but now I see how it works.
Thank you for the tip.
