Hello, what is the simplest way to model the 24 inch HoildayCoro PixNode CoroFlakes in Xlights?
-
Download xlights model at:
https://www.holidaycoro.com/v/vspfiles/downloads/130-24-xLights-Model.xlsx (https://www.holidaycoro.com/v/vspfiles/downloads/130-24-xLights-Model.xlsx)

Ok, I got the download, sorry I'm very new to this, How do I place this in Xlights?
-
Unfortunately HolidayCoro dont offer the xmodel files which would make this easier
Open the file in excel
Create a custom model on the layout tab in xlights
Edit model data
Increase the grid size to match the size of the grid in excel
Highlight all the cells in excel and copy them
Select the top left cell in xlights and paste the data
Click ok

Ok,Thanks. Do you have any tips on effects and sequences for just snowflakes? I'm just starting out with pixels and I'm very lost with the xlights program. Thanks .

Ok,for some reason I can't figure out how Xlights works. I think its a I can't see the forest through the trees kind of thing. I just have two snowflakes with the ws2811 lights and a string of the strawberry ws2811 type lights 50 bulbs. I'm planning on using the Falcon Picap to start out. Any tips to make this less confusing?
