Title: What makes these timing tracks different?
Post by: deonb on December 08, 2018, 01:09:16 PM
In the top timing track below, I can select the area between two timing marks.

In the bottom timing track, I can only select the whole row.

I want the top behavior. I've looked for a setting on the timing track to see what makes them different, but can't find anything.

These timing tracks are both imported from the Wizards in Winter .xtiming that is under xLights\Tools\Download Sequences/Lyrics.

What makes them different?

I think these were all generated using the QM Vamp plugins, so you might not be able to edit or select things in between the timing marks based on them being generated like this.

Yes, they could be generated. So how do I use those timing tracks?

You can actually just do an Import Timing track from the Sean Meighan "Wizards in Winter" .xtiming inside the "Timing files only" download in xLights.

However, I've put a empty sequence (Repro.xml) that reproduces the problem on here:

It's a bad timing track.  It has timing entries that cover the entire length of the song so its not going to work.
<Effect label="115" starttime="250" endtime="184500" />
