Title: Rendering error after upgrade to 2018.57
Post by: deonb on December 27, 2018, 10:00:11 AM
Experiencing a new rendering error in 2018.57. It was working on all prior releases. Downgrade to 56 fixes it, upgrade to 57 breaks it again. Repro'd on 3 different PC's (1x Windows 7, 2x Windows 10).

The symptoms are that when you "Save Sequence" it will work fine for that session. However, when you close the sequence and re-open it, it will be broken (see below). This wouldn't be such a huge issue but a batch render and the resulting .fseq files contain the error as well.

Let me know if you need a rgbeffects & sequence, but I can repro this on pretty much everything including a clean purchased Lilia sequence. Just open a sequence, save it, close it, re-open it and play it.

I have deleted my rendering cache & existing .fseq files. No luck.

Example - .56 vs. 57:

Another example - Lilia's "Light of Christmas" at the 20 second mark. 2018.57 at the top, 2018.56 at the bottom:

Yeah I confirmed it.  Something got messed up in either reading or writing of FSEQ files so go back to .56.

Thanks  very much.  .58 fixed problems I was having with P1p panels.
