When xlights opened today there was a prompt for an update to 2018.59. I downloaded it but Win10 doesn't like it. It shows: "This app can't run on your PC"
Looking at the file listing, the new installer is much smaller than the recent installers.

Its most likely the file did not download properly. It just happened to me today. If you look at the install file in windows explorer and it does not show the nutcracker icon then the file is corrupted. I switched to a different browser and then it downloaded just fine. But sometimes my main browser works so there is no rhyme or reason to which browser will work.

I get the same thing also. I even tried a different browser, same issue. Not a corruption. Maybe on the upload side.

Thanks Gil.
I came back to it this evening and it downloaded fine this time.

I tried again, still the same issue (no nutcracker in icon either). Deleted and went directly to the http://xlights.org/downloads/ area and downloaded from there. Still no nutcracker icon. File size is about 19Mb instead of the normal 38Mb in size. So I am not getting the complete file for some reason. I will keep trying different things. It downloads the older versions perfectly from the same location and browser.

Getting "failed, no file" when trying from the prompted download and downloading directly from http://xlights.org/downloads/ (both).

So when it doesn't download the full file size I call it corruption. So you can say its not a corruption but I can assure you the correct file is on the server because I downloaded and installed it myself today and I'm not the one that puts them up there.
