Title: Non-Facebook singing face files?
Post by: taintedsaint on January 24, 2019, 05:00:41 PM
I have followed the tutorials for building/sequencing singing faces and have that part handled. What I need are face files. For instance, one of the xlights around the world videos set to "Greatest Showman" has a few interesting faces.
When I have searched xlights.org and internet in general, I find responses sending users to Facebook group. I do NOT use Facebook. Never will. Period.
So are there other sources? Not CFOL. I have also looked at animated mouth shapes etc. but would have zero idea how to lay those on top of an image.
Really at a hard spot here because most everything leads to "Facebook group". Ain't gonna happen.

Need some guidance guys.

Thanks in advance.

Try either the Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2ozCEidtWh3aVFlMG4tNU56RXM?fref=gc&dti=628061113896314) or...

Go to a matrix or mega tree, and go to the faces settings for that, add a face and select matrix.  You'll see a "Download Images" button that opens a window where you can download 250+ different faces... all of which are also at the above link, but this way is much easier.

Yep no need to goto Facebook the ability to download faces is built into xLights:

I've made quite a few singing face images for matrixes that are available in the download and in the xlights Drive.
If you're interested and making your own catch me on zoom and I can probably show you how to do some.

Thanks for all the help!!! These are the responses I needed as everything else seemed to point to one place.
Additionally, in the tutorials I noted the download option however wasn't aware the library was that extensive.

Again, thanks to all.
