Title: Copy and resize several models at once?
Post by: Val Bennett on February 03, 2019, 09:49:14 AM
I see in the manual and on the forums that I can move a group of models together, but I don't think there is a way to move and resize several models at one time - is this correct or did I miss something? In my case, I created several models for a non-RGB singing tree, using only 8 discrete models/channels using single light strings.

You can select numerous models by clicking on the first one, and ctrl-clicking on additional ones, or by dragging a rectangle around them.  You can then move they together by holding ctrl while you click and drag.
Beware, there is an apparent bug or at least some very odd behavior in the Linux version.  If you ctrl-drag the lowest numbered model, it stays put while the rest of them move.

Copy/pasting several at once not sure will work.  But for resizing try selecting them all and then right-click->Resize->Match Size.  This requires you to have already resized the model that has focus because that's the one it will match.  To learn how to do all the selections if your in 3D watch my xEssentials video.
