I imported a SUP file for a mega tree (its the Light of Christmas mega tree sequence). I loaded it to a matrix I have wired in a snake configuration. On xlights it looks file, but my pixels, all the odd columns are inverted. in xlights the node layout matches how my matrix layout is.
any ideas what is going on or what I can do to fix this???
Please help

Sounds like you forgot to tell xlights you are zigzagging them.

My wiring view is attached, is there something else I need to do?
-
Have you told the controller to zig zag them as well?

How can I tell the controller this? By the way, it is one continuous string.
-
It’s more the case that you must zig zag in one place only not both.

So show us all of your model properties.

here are my model properties

I can’t read that. Can’t you just post the model properties and please make sure you show all of them. Not just the ones that show by default.

how is this?

And show your falcon string port settings.

here are the controller properties. I'm not sure why the end universes and channels are invalid.
-
Well that does not look right. You shouldn’t have all that red. Maybe upload to the controller again. Do inputs then outputs.

i have upload as you said several times now and I still get the invalid end universes and channels. not sure what to do now.

Downgrade to 2019.19 and try again.

that did the trick, thank you very much!

After getting it to work on the matrix I had hanging on the wall, I carefully took it down and framed the matrix in pvc for added support. Now all the LEDs light up white. I understand that this could be a short a cross signal and v+, but I don't understand how something so mundane as moving the matrix would cause this. Could it be a failure within a pixel causing this? Any good troubleshooting methods, short of testing each pixel individually, for figuring out where the short is at?

If it's all of the pixels then your problem is probably located in The Wire leading to the first pixel.
Double check all your connections between the controller and the first pixel.
