Title: This sequence is suddenly crashing...
Post by: joelchristmas on April 24, 2019, 08:50:51 PM
Weird thing...I was working on this sequence ("Christmastime is Here") and closed it because I was having dinner.

Opened it up later and--poof--crashes every time.  Other sequences open and work fine.  But this one: crashes every time now.

I'm on a Mac
xLights 2019.22 (and it crashes on this file now all the way back to 2019.20)

The backtrace appears to be crashing trying to decompress the FSEQ file.  I'd just delete that file then open the sequence and re-render and save it again and try again.

Before deleting it... can you send it to me?   Attachment to dan@kulp.com?   I'd like to try and figure out what's going on.

You want the FSEQ, yes?

Cool.  I’ll give it a shot (after sending it to Dan).  Thanks so much!

The fseq file is definitely corrupt.   It looks like xLights must have crashed in middle of generating it or something as the header data is incomplete.
