Title: Okay, this is weird...effects are "fading" as they play...
Post by: Stormyblade on July 04, 2019, 06:23:32 PM
I'm doing updates/upgrades tied in with a slightly new layout... I pulled up one of my sequences from last year and started cutting and pasting all the effects over to the new sequence. I started noticing that when I would play back the sequence the effects would sort of fade out before they finished playing, as if I had set the brightness to go from 100 down to 0.

Is there some sort of global fade that I might have triggered that I am unaware of? It only is happening in this one sequence. I am including the sequence .xml file and the rgbeffects file in case there's something I don't know about.

I downloaded and made an attempt of looking at your sequence but I couldn't find anything with what you provided.
Have you run check sequence?
And if you want somebody to look it over for you I would suggest you use package sequence so we would have everything that you're looking at.
Also point out a effect that's acting up on what model and what time.

Argh...sorry about that. I've included the zip file of the packaged sequence.

For examples, try the bar effect on 'All house lights' running from 0:42 to 0:50. Or, the color wash effect on various house locations running from 1:16 to 1:32.

Remove the morph from the effects.
You have the morph selected under layer blending for most of your effects.

Holy crap...I would have never noticed that as I don't play with layer blending all that much. Thanks for catching that!   ;D
