Title: Voice over work
Post by: djmc2002 on July 08, 2019, 10:47:35 AM
Who are you all using for voice over work now that Kevin Dunn (Demented Elf) has retired? I used him in past years and love his work and the radio style voice over. I would use his stuff still but I had to change my radio station and the station number tag is all through my VO

Suggestions, links, or examples would be great!

I know a few people who have used https://www.fiverr.com/ Prices start from $5 for 50 to 200 words.
There's a Santa Clause one I've seen recommended:  https://www.fiverr.com/uncandiedvalley/record-a-santa-claus-voiceover

Disclaimer: I haven't personally used any of these

Other people record their own voice-overs then use some of the tools in Audacity to modify the voice.

I have looked at Fivver and thought about doing my own work or having my daughter (who is a actor) do it but was hoping to find someone that understands the light show gig and did that kind of work like the Demented Elf did.

I have used one of the voiceover folks on fiverr.    He did a great job.   Lots of choices there for sure and very reasonable pricing.  Have used that one for two years now--a short "public service" announcement/greeting
